International Representation

Membership with APRA allows your works to be represented worldwide.  APRA has  reciprocal arrangements in place with all the other performing rights societies around the world. Each society monitors the world’s music within its own territory, and you only need to be a member of one performing right society in the world at one time.  Royalties for works by APRA members’ that have been broadcast or performed overseas, will be forwarded to APRA by the society where the performance or broadcast took place, and APRA will then pay the royalties to the APRA members.

We regularly attend meetings with these societies and with the international umbrella organisation for performing rights societies, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC). By participating in this international network, APRA helps to strengthen the voice of its local members across the globe.
